Even though I’m using a super high-end laptop, having to wait for the right click menu to show up always drives me crazy.

Well, so this article1 really saved my life. Actually, it gives us two methods to fix the problem, and I chose the second one, which seems to be not as destructive as the first one.

  1. Download the latest version of ShellExView2.
  2. Run the shellexview.exe and wait a second for the tool to scan for context menu entries.
  3. Look for the entry named NVIDIA CPL Context Menu Extension, right-click on it and then click Disable Selected Items.
  4. Look for the entries named TheDesktopContextMenu Class and disable them.
  5. You may need to reboot to see the change.

Finally, the context menu should show up immediately as you perform a right-click.
